Big Read in June!

It’s international! Have you heard of the Big Library Read? It’s a program that gives libraries and library patrons simultaneous access for a limited time to a popular electronic book title, creating a virtual, global book club!

What do you need to participate?  1. You’ll need a valid Wisconsin library card. 2. Request a password from your local library. 3. Visit http://wplc.lib.overdrive.com between June 3rd and June 18th!  If you have downloaded books from the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium (WPLC) site before, you are already set to join in the reading.

Beginning June 3rd and concluding the morning of June 18th, Wisconsin library card holders can download (temporarily borrow) and read the mystery ebook, A Pedigree to Die For, Book 1 of the Melanie Travis Mystery Series by Laurien Berenson. The ebook can be read on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Nook®, Android™ phones and tablets, and Kindle® without worrying about waiting lists or holds. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and best of all, there are no late fees!
