Lone Rock Village-wide Rummage Sales April 26th – 28th (Library book sale too)

Lone Rock Village-wide rummage sales are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday April 26th-28th. Maps and lists of items are available at Royal Bank, D&Z’s One Stop, Lone Stop Shell, or at http://www.villageoflonerock.com/  Lutheran Church Bake Shop & Breakfast will be Saturday 8:00-10:30, and church rummage sale at 8:00 a.m. all three days. Brat stand at D&Z’s car wash all three days at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at brat stand for door prizes. Sponsored by Lone Rock Splash Pad Committee. Stop by the library on Thursday or Saturday to check out our ongoing used book sale. Take a break with a free cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or lemonade.  Kids sign up to WIN A KIDS’ GIFT PACK AND BOOK! (Library hours are Thursday 11:00-5:30, Friday Closed, Saturday 9:00-12:00.)

ADRC satellite services offered May 22nd for Richland County residents

The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country – Richland Center office, serving Richland County residents, will be coming to the library to offer satellite services on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Elder Benefit Specialist, and Information and Assistance Specialist, who are trained in assisting people who are 18-59 with disabilities, or over the age of 60, will be available for walk-in appointments. ADRC specialists have a vast knowledge of public benefits including Medicare, Medicaid, Long Term Care programs, Food Share, Energy Assistance, Disability, other financial resources, housing, resources for caregivers, transportation, and much more. Library Open House ~ Saturday, April 7th

To celebrate and kick off National Library Week (April 8-14, 2018), Lone Rock Community Library will have an open house on Saturday, April 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Stop in to see what your local library has to offer, see featured works from authors with local ties, learn about the library’s history, and have a slice of cake!
